Goldie Hawn
Goldie HawnBorn to a musical family on Nov. 21, 1945, in Washington, D.C., Goldie Hawn began singing and dancing in childhood. She made her screen debut in the Disney film The One and Only Genuine Original Family Band (starring her future longtime companion, Kurt Russell) in 1968; a year later, she was a household name as the giggly, ditsy blonde on TV's "Laugh-In."

Hawn exploited that persona to the hilt in her first major film role in 1969's Cactus Flower, winning a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in the process. Well-received work (both funny and serious) in Shampoo, The Sugarland Express and Foul Play followed.

With 1980's Private Benjamin (which earned her a Best Actress Oscar nomination), she also added producing to her talents. Hawn's later appearances include The First Wives Club, The Out-of-Towners, Town & Country and The Banger Sisters.
