Jamie Foxx
Jamie FoxxBorn Eric Morlon Bishop in Terrell, Texas, on Dec. 13, 1967, Jamie Foxx had a strict upbringing that included religion, music training and sports. After college, Foxx decided he wanted to try stand-up comedy as a career.

Not long after, in 1991, Foxx was cast in "In Living Color." His film career began with a small part in Toys (1992), but the roles got bigger and more memorable in The Truth About Cats & Dogs (1996) and The Great White Hype (1996). After the short-lived "The Jamie Foxx Show" (1996), he kicked his film career into overdrive with standout roles in Any Given Sunday (1999) and Ali (2001).

In 2004, two films starring Foxx earned him accolades: Collateral (for which he received a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination) and Ray (in which he portrayed Ray Charles), which brought him a Best Actor Oscar. In 2005, Foxx starred in two military tales: Stealth and Jarhead.
