Born May 21, 1957, in Wilmington, Del., lanky, likable Judge Reinhold attended North Carolina School of the Arts before getting his start performing in various regional theaters (including Burt Reynolds's Dinner Theater in Jupiter, Fla.).The young actor soon found himself cast as a gawky teen on a variety of TV shows, eventually carrying the role all the way to the big screen, where he rocketed to the public's attention as blundering senior Brad in Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). Reinhold continued to score big hits in the '80s with movies such as Beverly Hills Cop (opposite Eddie Murphy) and Ruthless People.
Reinhold has continued to work steadily over the years, earning an Emmy nod for his appearance as the "close talker" on "Seinfeld" and appearing as shrink Dr. Neil Miller in The Santa Clause (1994) and its two sequels.
