A charismatic triple threat who got his start singing country songs on "Star Search," Justin Timberlake was born in Memphis, Tenn., on Jan. 31, 1981. At age 12, he joined the revival cast of "The Mickey Mouse Club," where he performed with future pop stars such as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera before his skills earned him a spot as the youngest member of the soon-to-be supergroup 'N Sync.After turning in small roles in the made-for-television movie Model Behavior (2000) and On the Line (2001), the 20-something singer stepped away from his boy band image to launch a successful career as a solo artist and build his acting résumé, starring alongside Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey in Edison Force (2005) and earning props for his portrayal of a drug dealer in the independent drama Alpha Dog (2006).
