Born in Chickasha, Okla., on March 25, 1979, Lee Pace grew up in Houston and spent part of his childhood in Saudi Arabia, thanks to his father's career in the oil industry.After earning his bachelor's degree from Juilliard, Pace honed his skills off Broadway and eventually made a splash with a Golden Globe-nominated performance as the transgendered girlfriend of a murdered soldier in the made-for-cable movie Soldier's Girl (2003). Recurring roles in "Wonderfalls" and "Pushing Daisies" followed, the latter of which earned the actor another Golden Globe nod and his first Emmy nomination.
Pace's credits on the big screen include The Good Shepherd and Infamous (2006) and Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (2008).
