Born Aug. 16, 1946, in New York City, Lesley Ann Warren splashed onto the national stage playing the rags-to-riches princess in the musical TV special "Cinderella" (1965) and premiered on film two years later in Disney's The Happiest Millionaire.For the next 15 years, Warren took on a slew of small-screen roles but resurrected her movie career with an Oscar-nominated supporting turn as a gangster's moll in Victor/Victoria (1982). In 1985, the effervescent actress brought the board-game character Miss Scarlet to life in the breezy spoof Clue. The following decade found Warren starring in a variety of feature films, including an acclaimed performance in 1997's Going All the Way and The Limey (1999).
Returning to television, Warren appeared in a string of recurring roles on popular shows such as "Will & Grace" and "Desperate Housewives" (in which she played Teri Hatcher's mother).
