Matthew Morrison
A seasoned Broadway performer turned television star, Matthew Morrison was born Oct. 30, 1978, on a military base in Fort Ord, Calif., and spent his formative years as an "Army brat." After enrolling at New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, he left early to join the cast of the Broadway musical "Footloose."

The triple-threat singer-dancer-actor went on to originate the role of teen heartthrob Link Larkin in "Hairspray" and already had a Tony nomination under his belt for "The Light in the Piazza" when he signed on to play a high school show choir adviser on the quirky TV series "Glee." It proved to be a breakout hit -- and Morrison one of its most popular stars, earning two Golden Globe nods and an Emmy nomination for his lead performance.

Morrison's résumé also includes a brief stint on the long-running soap opera "As the World Turns" and the 2007 film Music and Lyrics.
