One of two heiress daughters of the Hilton Hotel empire's Rick and Kathy Hilton, Paris Hilton was born February 17, 1981, in New York City.Known primarily through her teen years as a notorious party girl, Hilton started to obtain small cameo roles (sometimes playing herself) in films such as Zoolander (2001), Wonderland (2003), The Cat in the Hat (2003) and Raising Helen (2004). Her popularity took off in 2003, however, thanks to two events: the launch of her fish-out-of-water reality series "The Simple Life" on Fox and the internet release of a homemade sex video with her and an ex-boyfriend.
Hilton is said to be working on a dance album and will have a starring role in a remake of House of Wax (2004).
