Patricia HeatonTwo-time Emmy winner and six-time nominee for her role as the titular character's beleaguered wife in "Everybody Loves Raymond," Patricia Heaton is one of TV's best-loved sitcom stars. Born March 4, 1958, in Bay Village, Ohio, Heaton moved to New York in 1980 after graduating from Ohio State University with a B.A. in drama.

After making her Broadway debut in the musical "Don't Get God Started," Heaton co-founded the Stage Three theater company with fellow acting students. When they took one of their productions to Los Angeles, Heaton caught the eye of casting directors, and a string of TV roles followed.

In addition to her work on "Everybody Loves Raymond," Heaton has appeared in a number of TV movies (such as Miracle in the Woods) and films (including Memoirs of an Invisible Man, Space Jam). Off camera, she's produced the documentary The Bituminous Coal Queens of Pennsylvania.
