Rob Reiner
Rob ReinerThe oldest son of master comedian Carl Reiner and wife Estelle, Rob Reiner was born March 6, 1947, in the Bronx, N.Y. When he was 13, the family moved to Los Angeles, where Rob attended Beverly Hills High School and UCLA.

America's first impression of Reiner was as Michael "Meathead" Stivic, Archie Bunker's liberal son-in-law on the 1970s TV series "All in the Family." In the '80s, Reiner entered the realm of directing, stunning audiences with his hilarious feature and screenwriting debut, the cult classic This Is Spinal Tap (1984). That success led to a string of box-office gems, including Stand by Me (1986), The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally (1989), Misery, A Few Good Men (1992) and The American President.

Co-founder of Castle Rock Entertainment, Reiner continues to act as well, appearing in films such as Sleepless in Seattle and Bullets Over Broadway.
