Born March 25, 1965, in Nelsonville, Ohio, Sarah Jessica Parker was one of eight full and half siblings. She was performing onstage from childhood and soon landed the lead in the Broadway run of "Annie." Her would-be film debut in 1979's Rich Kids wound up on the cutting-room floor.While in high school, she landed a lead role in the 1982 TV sitcom "Square Pegs." Roles in Footloose, Firstborn and Flight of the Navigator, plus several miniseries and TV movies, followed. It was as Steve Martin's free-spirited girlfriend, SanDeE*, in 1991's L.A. Story that Parker hit her stride on the big screen, making way for prominent roles in Honeymoon in Vegas, Hocus Pocus, Ed Wood, Miami Rhapsody and Mars Attacks!
