T.R. Knight
T.R. KnightBorn in Minneapolis March 26, 1973, Theodore "T.R." Knight discovered his passion for theater early in life. At the tender age of 5, he landed the role of Tiny Tim in a regional production of "A Christmas Carol" and opted to skip college to pursue his dream of becoming a professional thespian.

Several years after moving to New York City, Knight bagged a role on Broadway opposite Patti LuPone and Peter Gallagher in a revival of "Noises Off" (2001). Knight made his film debut in Garmento before returning to the stage in 2003 in "Scattergood." Small television roles on "Frasier," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" soon followed.

But it was Knight's portrayal of likable surgical intern George O'Malley on the hit TV series "Grey's Anatomy" that finally brought the actor national notoriety, including an Emmy nomination in 2007.
