When mild-mannered Dave Peck discovers a book about the meaning of life, he snatches it up for the bargain-basement price of $9.99 and blossoms into a voracious reader -- who's determined to share the book's secrets with everyone he knows. That includes his father, with whom Dave shares an apartment, and his quirky neighbors. Geoffrey Rush and Anthony LaPaglia lend their voices to this stop-motion animation import from director Tatia Rosenthal.
