This classic Bollywood romance draws on the star power of Bharat Bhushan, Indian cinema's tragic hero, and Madhubala, one of Bollywood film's glamour girls. The moody main character is a young writer who finds himself passionately attracted to Madhubala's character. Music director Roshan adds pining ballads and flirty dance numbers to the lovelorn proceedings.
