The Bells

  (1926)
An ambitious innkeeper (Lionel Barrymore) murders a wealthy traveler to settle his debts. Although no one suspects the innkeeper of the crime, he's haunted by a hypnotist from a traveling carnival (Boris Karloff) and tormented by the bloodstained ghost of the murdered man in this film inspired by the tales and poems of Edgar Allen Poe. Also includes the original American edition of Rene Clair's silent fantasy The Crazy Ray.
