Backed by Bud Shank's musical score, West Coast surfing icon Bruce Brown adds new narration to gorgeous vintage footage shot in California and Hawaii in the 1960s. Brown takes viewers headfirst into a maze of mesmerizing waves, courtesy of a custom camera enclosed in a watertight box. The film also provides a glimpse of big-name surfers such as Del Cannon and an overview of now-famous surfing spots.
