The First Churchills

This 12-part miniseries (which originally aired on PBS's "Masterpiece Theatre") is based on factual accounts from Sir Winston Churchill concerning his ancestors John (John Neville) and Sarah Churchill (Susan Hampshire). John was a legendary military figure who worked his way up to become a general in the British Army, while Sarah worked within the legal system and was widely known for her intelligence and beauty.
