The crew of the Yamato continues to grapple with the nefarious hordes of the Black Nebula Empire in this fourth installment of the popular anime series. While trying to reach the attackers' home world, the Yamato encounters a time warp that hurls the ship 200 years into the future -- by which time Earth has been defeated. Refusing to accept their dire circumstance, the crew travels back through time in an effort to rewrite history.
