Legendary Brazilian artists Airto Moreira and Flora Purim deliver a high-powered evening of music in this concert from the 1985 Queen Mary Jazz Festival. Percussionist Moreira provides a combination of jazz, bossa nova, samba and carnival rhythms while Purim supplies her unique vocals. Songs include "Xequere," "Birimbau Solo," "Flora's Fling," "Humbi-Humbi" and more. Saxophonist Joe Farrell and the Batucaje Dance Troupe make guest appearances.
