Charles Bronson stars as border patrol agent Jeb Maynard, bent on hunting down a notorious "coyote" (Ed Harris) who's smuggling undocumented immigrants from Mexico into the United States. But even as the hard-line agent strives to uphold the letter of the law, the desperate circumstances of illegal alien Elena (Karmin Murcelo) -- who is helping his investigation -- show him another, more human side of the border struggle.
