Daft Punk's Electroma

Electronic music duo Daft Punk (Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel De Homen-Christo) directs this experimental silent feature about two robots (Peter Hurteau and Michael Reich) on a quest to become human. After a failed attempt to adopt a human facade, the robots find themselves wandering outcasts. Lauded as visually stunning, the film marks Daft Punk's feature-length directorial debut and, interestingly, contains no music from the successful duo.
