Crossing the lines of jazz, pop and R&B, Dinah Washington shows the immense range and talent that made her a music legend. This collection features rare footage of the beloved singer performing songs from her early career. The presentation also includes "soundies" (musical shorts) from Washington contemporaries Ruth Brown, Martha Davis, Dorothy Dandridge, Mabel Lee, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, June Richmond, Vanita Smythe and Faye Adams.
