Michael Winner directs this action film about former hit man Jerry Fanon (James Coburn) who is hired out of retirement by long-ago lover Adele Tasca (Sophia Loren) to kidnap the man responsible for killing her husband. Before long, Fanon is neck-deep in international espionage as he stalks his prey on a Caribbean island retreat. O.J. Simpson costars as a cold-blooded, remorseless assassin, and boxer Jake LaMotta also makes an appearance.
