Struggling New York actors Bud (Josh Casaubon) and Holly (Emily Fitzgerald) meet and hit it off. She's watched over by Earl (Joseph Tudisco), a guardian angel who's concerned that her new love doesn't seem to have an angel of his own. When Earl discovers the identity of Bud's missing angel, Yvette (Katherine Brecka), it rekindles a romance in the two guardians, but it forces Bud to face a devastating memory he's repressed his entire life.
