Directors Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez recall their favorite exploitation films by writing these two feature horror films buoyed by faux advertisements and trailers for upcoming attractions. Grindhouse is presented as one full-length feature comprised of two individual films helmed separately by each director. Death Proof centers on a killer who pursues his victims with a car, while Planet Terror tells the tale of a zombie outbreak.
