Detectives Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) and Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) are back to solve sickening cases of sexually based crimes in this fifth season of SVU. This year, the duo have their hands full with a vengeful patient, a father who can't accept his responsibility, and a Colombian drug cartel that forces tough-as-nails A.D.A. Alex Cabot (Stephanie March) to go into hiding, to be replaced by Casey Novak (Diane Neal).
