This compelling drama tells the true story of newspaper heiress Patty Hearst's (Natasha Richardson) notorious 1974 kidnapping. Nabbed by members of the radical Symbionese Liberation Army when she was a college student, Hearst soon joined them in robbing banks. The controversy over whether she was brainwashed or participated willingly has never been resolved. Ving Rhames, William Forsythe and Frances Fisher co-star as SLA members.
