Pie maker Ned (Lee Pace) has the extraordinary ability to bring dead people back to life, but the gift comes with some major drawbacks. He can't touch anyone he's resurrected -- which means his relationship with his once-deceased sweetie (Anna Friel) is strictly hands-off. Kristin Chenoweth won an Emmy for her work in the second season of this quirky series, playing a chatty waitress who harbors an unrequited crush on Ned.
