The great Joan Crawford stars as Jenny Stewart, a high-maintenance Broadway star who gets a surprise dose of honesty from her feisty new pianist, blind war veteran Tye Graham (Michael Wilding). His blunt talk soon causes Jenny to reevaluate her relationship with her obsequious, drunken boyfriend (Gig Young). Marjorie Rambeau was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her turn as Jenny's mother. Songs include "Tenderly" and "Blue Moon."
